C.O.D. Black Ops 2

Today we get to choose our own subject for our daily blog post. So I chose to do it about Call of Duty Black Ops 2. Black ops 2 is a first person shooter game which is based in 2015 and includes a Campaign, Multiplayer and Zombies. My favourite is Multiplayer because it has submachine guns, assault rifles, rocket launchers, specials shotguns, pistols, light machine-guns and the all time favourite sniper rifles.

In zombies you have a challenge to survive endless rounds of zombies which get harder and harder every round you start. You can buy guns of the walls and use the mystery box which can give you wonder weapons or really bad weapons. You can also buy perks that help you survive.

It was an icy cold winter morning when it all started, the trees were swaying and the grass was frosty. I was sitting inside on my couch having a nice cup of tea when I get a phone call, it’s my boyfriend Joe “Hey babe do you want to meet with me today outside Smithson’s cafe? I need to talk to you”  “Sure” I replied. “I’ll meet you there at 9:00” He said.

I continue with my morning by having breakfast and doing my make up.

I go and meet Joe and straight away he say “I’m breaking up with you”, I run away screaming by the time I get back to my apartment my mascara is down to my chin.

Later I decide to go fishing because that is the one thing that sooths me. I get out in the boat and see some dolphins far out so I decide to get my binoculars out to have a look. I put my rod down and as soon as I got it to the bottom I get a bite and I wind my rod up to see what I got it was a king fish. when I was reeling it up it hurt my finger because I had my ring on so I take it off and put my rod back down and catch nothing so I put my ring back on and got another king fish so I think my ring must be a good luck charm.

Equipment:

1 Plastic cup

1x 40cm piece of string

1x Square piece of sponge

Scissors

First get the cup and poke a little hole in it with the scissors and feed the string through.

After tie a knot in the end so it can't fall out.

Once you have done that wet the sponge have quickly slide it down the piece of string while squeezing it tight. It will make a duck noise. Have fun.

Brando (Wildboy)

How: By walking the entire coast of New Zealand.

On the 16th of may 2014 Brando Yelavich visited T.I.S. and told us about his amazing trip.
He started 1 year 4 months and 138 days ago at the very top of New zealand he has traveled the whole coast of New Zealand and has got another 4 months to go. Brando has a lot of gear with him including a spring-bolt cross bow, a giant machete, and a lot of cloths and cooking appliances. We wish him good luck for the rest of his trip and hope he gets home safe.

For the probability test I have used a marshmallow for the good prize and a piece of string. i made a deal with my sister that if she got the marshmallow she could eat it so in total she ate 8 marshmallows and got 7 pieces of string.

The way you play is you have a goal and a starting link, then you have to find the goal by clicking on links to get the goal word but the way you win the game you need to get the goal word in the least amount of words.

Estuary Run

Next week Rimu house will begin a Estuary run for our weekly run. Here are some instructions of where to go.  You will need shoes because the Estuary has very hard and rocky paths.

• 1. First you will run out side the school gate and turn right.
• 2. Then you will run all the way down Grace Road. 
• 3. After cross the road at the last speed bump on Grace Road.
• 4. Then you will run down the hill on the main road on 15th Ave and turn in at Burrows Street.
• 5. Once at Burrows Street you will see a little opening on the right go down that opening and you will be on the Estuary. 
• 6. Keep on following the track until you come to an end.
• 7. Go up the hill and DON'T GO DOWN TANNER STREET!
• 8. Keep going up the hill and go on the foot path where the buses normally line up.
• 9. Keep going until you get to the main gate and run down the school drive way and come up the stairs to the bleachers and sit in the place you came in the run.

Safety tips:

• Ask one of the teachers on the bikes where to go if you don't already know.
• Always wear shoes.

Click card system

This year in 2014 every class will be helping develop a new system for Tauranga Intermediate School.
Every student will be given a click card. You will get a click every day if you are showing good behaviour. Therefore if you are not you will get a verbal warning, if you are still misbehaving you will get your name on the white board, if you struggle to stay away from trouble you will get a cross. Some students are so bad that if you are still naughty you will get a formal warning. With the formal warning you will have to write a reflection which will then go home and will be signed by your parents/caregiver then you must bring it back to school and give it to your teacher.
You can al;so get a stars card for being good and Miss Mills will draw two out at every hui and if your name is drawn you will get a voucher.

Mrs Colville will draw out a winner from the whole school to then be given a brand new bike.
